In this short episode, I’m sharing a few teachings from Dr. Joe Dispenza that really made me pause and think differently about change.
One of the ideas that stuck with me is this: sometimes we don’t fall back into old habits because we want to… we fall back because our body has memorized the emotion.
Over time, the body becomes familiar with certain emotional states, like stress, frustration, guilt, and worry. Eventually, those emotions become automatic. Even when we want something different, our nervous system pulls us back into what it knows.
Dr. Joe calls this “the habit of being yourself.”
In this episode, I talk about how we can begin interrupting that pattern by bringing awareness to our triggers, practicing small daily resets, and intentionally feeling the emotions of the person we want to become. Let's Dive In!

In this episode, I’m talking about a set of ideas that have fascinated me for a long time: The Five Laws of the Universe, as shared through Darryl Anka’s channelings.
Whether you see these teachings as spiritual philosophy, metaphysical exploration, or simply a framework for thinking about life differently, they offer a really interesting way to look at how reality works.
What I love about these laws is how simple they are (I've added them to my morning meditation!) and how much they explain about our experience as human beings and the "here and now."
These five ideas suggest that reality isn’t random. Instead, it operates through a few core principles that shape how we experience life, time, connection, and change. Let's Dive In!

We hear the phrase “all we have is the present moment” all the time.
But if that’s true… what about our memories? What about the stories people tell about our past? What about photos, experiences, and everything we’ve already lived?
In this episode, I explore a deeper way of understanding what people really mean when they say the present is all we have...and why this idea can be incredibly empowering rather than limiting.

This episode might surprise you. In this episode, I’m sharing how sleeping in separate beds (sometimes separate rooms) quite literally saved our marriage.
Not because we were failing, but because we wanted our relationship to survive and thrive.
We talk about:
Why poor sleep was slowly eroding our patience
The resentment that builds when your nervous system never fully resets
Why “good couples sleep in the same bed” is a cultural script we don’t question
How honoring what our bodies needed changed everything
The difference between intimacy and proximity
Why rest is relational
I also share the emotional side of this decision: the guilt, the fear of what people would think, and the identity shift that came with choosing what worked for us rather than what looked “normal.”
If you’ve ever felt tension rise because you’re overstimulated, overtired, or just needing space to breathe, this one is for you.
Sometimes marriage isn’t saved by more talking. It’s saved by sleeping more.
You’re not broken. You might just need better rest.

This might sound funny, but I didn’t expect a halftime show to regulate my nervous system the way it did.
As a half-Puerto Rican and second-generation woman in the U.S., I’ve always lived in that in-between space. A space that makes selecting “Race/Ethnicity” on application forms confusing (and why most of the time, I chose “other”).
As a Puerto Rican, I inherited resilience. I inherited pride. Yet, I also inherited a nervous system shaped by survival.
My family worked in sugarcane fields and coffee farms on the island. They had many mouths to feed, no electricity or running water, and struggled to provide. Yet, the courage of my grandparents, who started a new chapter in a new land, has allowed me to make this podcast for you.
Maybe you see this in your family lineage.
Our DNA carries the impressions of what our families have endured, and much of our scarcity mindset stems from the need to survive.
So at my sister’s Super Bowl party, when Bad Bunny took that stage being unapologetically Puerto Rican, something in me, and many of us, broke open, and here's why. Let's dive in...

Ever feel like your body is in full fight-or-flight mode… over an email?
In this mini Breath Break episode, I’m breaking down the nervous system in a way that’s actually easy (and kind of fun) to understand — no boring science lesson required. We’re talking:
• Why stress today feels like a saber-toothed tiger to your body• The “chill pill” part of your nervous system (aka your built-in calm button)• Why you can’t think your way into calm — but you can breathe your way there• A simple candle breathing practice you can use anywhere (yes, even in the grocery store line)
This is meditation for people who can’t meditate — quick, practical, and something you’ll actually use in real life.
Take a few minutes with me, flicker that candle breath, and let your shoulders drop.

In today’s episode, I sit down with someone who has deeply shaped the way I think about success, leadership, and integrity - one of my mentors, Nannette Stangle-Castor.
What I love about this conversation is that while we talk on this podcast about breath, spiritual energy, and inner alignment, this episode shows what that can look like in real life without any spiritual language at all.
This is a conversation about values. About listening to yourself. About choosing integrity for career, family, and life, even when it’s hard, and how it changes everything.
Nannette's story is proof that you don’t have to be spiritual to live aligned. You just have to be willing to lead with honesty, clarity, and heart.
